Myra retired from Real Estate Marketing/Administrative/IT arena. Myra is also involved in the local Methodist Church and various local charities.

After 3 years with the cedar furniture, Note-Able Workshop has expanded its line to include Poly-Tuf Outdoor Furniture, manufactured in Ohio and assembled in Grove, OK. It is also a "Green" product, made from recycled plastic milk jugs and the color is all the way through the product.

The goal of Note-Able Workshop is to become a work training organization assisting those working their way out of poverty and those who are subjects of the county Community Sentencing Court. This project is designed to serve those who are serious about improving their lives within a Christian atmosphere.

When we discovered the outdoor furniture system based upon the use of Western Red Cedar, we decided this would be a product that would work for us to carry out our mission.

Western Red Cedar (WRC) comes from a highly managed forestry in the Northwestern portion of USA. This means we are not depleting our natural resources. Since we are using “reclaimed” wood (after wood is cut to standard lengths, the wood that might have been discarded) is then used for our furniture. WRC is different than the cedar trees that grow in the Midwest. It is extremely resistant to insects and decay. It dries quickly because it does not retain moisture. It is attractive and strong, but not so heavy as to be unmanageable. It cuts, sands, and assembles beautifully.

This cedar does not require finishing products because it naturally ages to a soft silver patina. If finishing is preferred, we can offer suggestions for the product to use, or we can finish it for you.

Where else can you purchase outdoor furniture with beautiful traditional design, long-term comfort and consistency, promising years of pleasure for those who integrate the chairs and tables into your outdoor living. No need to replace faded, mildewed cushions or webbing.

What sells our chairs? We ask people to sit in them. You won’t believe the comfort until you try them. Call us today to acquire your comfort in outdoor furniture.

We make these chairs in our shop, one chair at a time, near Grove, Oklahoma USA
